CONTESTS David Sasher, Debby's fiancee, helped man the registration desk in 2006, did many of the mailings, filled the Goodie Bags and was an all around help to putting on Deadly Ink 2006. He passed away on November 18, 2006. In his memory, we have created the Best Mystery Novel annual award (the David). Ida Chittum, an accomplished writer of young adult mysteries and children's books, passed away in 2001. In her memory we have created the award for Best Young Adult Mystery (the Ida).
